Volunteers Needed for Special Olympics Tennis State Games in Orlando
Tennis fans can volunteer for one day of life-changing service by joining USTA Florida and Special Olympics Florida at the 2018 Special Olympics Florida State Summer Games in May.
The USTA National Campus in Orlando will be host site for the May 18-19 event, and volunteers are needed to serve as score keepers, help with awards, serve as ball persons, or provide general event assistance.
Volunteer shifts are:
* Friday, May 18 — 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
* Saturday, May 19 — 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Special Olympics Florida relies on dedicated volunteers to provide year-round sports training and athletic competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate. Events provide continuing opportunities for participants to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy.
The USTA National Campus is located at 10000 USTA Blvd. in Orlando.
