USTA Florida Promoting Local Summer Tennis Camps During #SummerOfNetGeneration

Summer is the season of fun, swimming pools, the beach — and hundreds of local tennis camps for kids at facilities across Florida.

This summer USTA Florida is helping promote local summer camps in partnership with Net Generation, creating the #SummerOfNetGeneration for more fun, more kids at camps, and the USTA Florida street team hosting Net Generation Fun Days at random camps across the state.

TV commercials and USTA national marketing campaigns will drive parents to www.NetGeneration.com to look for camps and other play opportunities beginning in May. USTA Florida will also provide local support for camps via all digital channels.

During the last week of May, five tennis camps will be randomly drawn (live on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/USTAFlorida) to receive a Net Generation Fun Day, courtesy of USTA Florida, featuring a day of fun activities, food and giveaways. Camps can also win a summer-ending BIG BASH Party with food, activities, and loads of fun by posting photos or videos on social media with the hashtag #SummerOfNetGeneration.

To enter:

1. Register as a provider on www.NetGeneration.com.

2. Enter your Florida Summer Tennis Camps on www.NetGeneration.com as a community program prior to May 20. Make sure the words “Summer Camp” and #SummerOfNetGeneration are in your program description when registering.

3. Get ready to post photos and videos on social media with #SummerOfNetGeneration to win the BIG BASH.

Fifty free Net Generation banners will be mailed to the first 50 Florida providers who enter BOTH a summer camp AND fall programs on the www.NetGeneration.com program management center “community programs” area as a thank you from USTA Florida.

Net Generation is a national Safe Play program, where parents can rest easy knowing all camp instructors have completed a complimentary Safe Play background screening as part of the registration process.
