USTA Florida, Naval Air Station Jacksonville Bring XGLOsive Blacklight Tennis to Military
USTA Florida and Naval Air Station Jacksonville have joined forces to bring a special XGLOsive blacklight tennis event to the base on April 20, 2018. The special event, Lights Out NAS, is free and open to all current and former military members and their guests, ages six and older.
“Military outreach is something we absolutely need to do more of,” said Laura Bowen, executive director of USTA Florida. “Tennis is a family affair, and we are excited and proud to give military families in Florida an opportunity to play tennis and have fun together.”
Lights Out NAS will be held on Friday, April 20, from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Sessions are open to both youth and adult participants, ages six and older. Base access is required to attend.
No experience needed, but you must register in advance. Each participant will receive a glow-in-the-dark t-shirt.
