US Open Division Winners List: Add U.S. Wheelchair Trophies Too

While Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys in the women’s final and Amanda Anisimova and Cori Gauff in the girl’s final were trumpeting the current and future success of women’s tennis at the US Open, Americans were also claiming titles and reaching finals in the wheelchair competition.

American David Wagner won both the wheelchair quad singles and doubles titles, his third US Open quad singles championship. He was the 2016 US Open quad singles winner, and this year’s quad doubles title was his eighth in a row.

American Dana Mathewson was the runner-up in the wheelchair women’s doubles championship.
