U.S. Fed Cup Ticket Info; Latest ‘Inside Tennis with The Koz’
Tickets Available Starting Next Week for U.S. Fed Cup in Tampa Bay
Tickets for the 2017 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group Semifinal between the United States and the Czech Republic will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m. ET. An exclusive presale for USTA members will take place from March 28-30.
The best-of-five match series will be played at Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa Bay, April 22-23, on outdoor clay. Tampa Bay will be hosting Fed Cup for the first time. The U.S. Fed Cup team is 4-0 all-time in Florida.
The winner of the match-up will advance to the Fed Cup Final, Nov. 11-12. The U.S. Fed Cup team made its last appearance in the final in 2010, falling to Italy 3-1 in San Diego. The U.S. won the last of its record 17 Fed Cup titles in 2000. The Czech Republic has been dominant in Fed Cup in recent years, winning five titles in the last six years (2011-12, 2014-16).
U.S. Fed Cup Captain Kathy Rinaldi will select the four players to represent the U.S. on Wednesday, April 12. The U.S. is likely to be led by world No. 9 Madison Keys, 2017 Australian Open semifinalist Coco Vandeweghe, and 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist Bethanie Mattek-Sands. The Czech Republic is likely to be led by 2016 US Open finalist Karolina Pliskova and world No. 2 doubles player Lucie Safarova.
Single-day and two-day ticket packages will be sold. Two-day ticket packages for both Saturday and Sunday play will be sold at reduced prices ranging from $60-$150 ($30 to $75 per day). Single-day tickets for Saturday or Sunday play will be sold with prices ranging from $35-$80 per day.

Bollettieri, Roddick Featured on Latest Inside Tennis with The Koz
A premier episode of “Inside Tennis with The Koz” will air on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. on SNN TV on the Suncoast of Florida.
The 30-minute magazine style show will feature a look the Eddie Herr International including interviews with Hall of Fame tennis coach Nick Bollettieri, Colette Lewis of Zoo Tennis, and IMG coach Red Ayme. Interviews will also be conducted with Eddie Herr players Gianna Pielet, Zane Khan, Katie Volynets, Jonah Braswell, Dasha Plekhanova, Maria Lourdes Carle, Varvara Gracheva, and Miomir Kecmanovic.
The show will also highlight a visit to the Orlando PowerShares with current American tennis legends Jim Courier, James Blake, Andy Roddick, John McEnroe and University of Central Florida men’s head tennis coach John Roddick.
The episode also features a sit-down interview with Steve Frank of Nature’s Rite on athletic injury prevention and recovery, and a tennis tip from Lakewood Ranch Director of Junior Tennis Greg Hill.
