Tennis Fundraiser for Delray Beach Youth Foundation in April
The Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation will host its annual fundraising tournament on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 1-6 p.m. at the Delray Beach Tennis Center.
The round robin tennis tournament will be followed by a reception and raffle drawing. Funds raised will help support the Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation program that reaches 100 underserved children in Delray Beach.
“Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation mission is to inspire our youth to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime through education, life skills and the game of tennis,” says the organization’s John Sullivan. “Our goal through our mission is to develop our youth to become positive role models in their communities. Come and join us for a round robin tennis event followed by an informative cocktail party.”
The Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2015. DBYTF was created by to improve the lives of underserved students living in Delray Beach. As a National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapter, DBYTF uses its tested, out-of-school-time Academic Creative Engagement (ACE) curriculum, which is designed to support academic achievement, promote health and wellness, and build both social and emotional skills. Providing a fun outlet after school also boosts school attendance.
