The 2019 Tallahassee Tennis Challenger, a USTA Pro Circuit event held at the Forestmeadows Athletic Center in Tallahassee, Fla., on April 22-28, will be broadcast on the Tennis Channel for the first time in tournament history.
Tennis Channel will broadcast opening-day action beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET on Monday April 22, as well as semifinal Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. ET, and championship Sunday beginning at noon ET.
In addition, all matches throughout the week will also be available on their direct-to-consumer streaming service, Tennis Channel Plus.
“We are extremely excited to have Tallahassee’s only professional sporting event broadcast to a national audience,” said Tournament Director Karen Vogter. “With past champions such as John Isner and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, it is a great opportunity to showcase our community and the high-quality professional tennis we have here each year.”
As in years past, tennis fans will also be able to view all main draw matches through a free live video stream at www.procircuit.usta.com or www.tallahasseechallenger.com starting April 22.
The Tallahassee Tennis Challenger is an ATP Challenger 80 and USTA Pro Circuit event that will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Professional athletes from around the world will be competing for prize money, as well as ATP World Tour Ranking points.
A springboard for future stars, past Tallahassee Tennis Challenger champions include Isner (2009), Tsonga (2007) and Mardy Fish (2006). U.S. rising star Frances Tiafoe was runner-up in 2016-15.
