Registration Still Open for 2024 Bobby Curtis Sectional Championships

The stage is almost set for the highly anticipated 2024 Bobby Curtis Singles Championship, a pinnacle event for USTA Florida junior players, showcasing the best talent in the state.  

Split into two weeks, the tournament will feature matches for the 18s and 16s age groups from June 8 to June 12, followed by the 14s and 12s divisions from June 15 to June 19. All matches will unfold at the USTA National Campus, on the clay courts. 

Registration is still open for this prestigious event, but it closes on May 26 at 5:59 PM. With a handful of competitors seeking their shot at glory, space is filling up quickly. To register, you must be a USTA Florida junior player. The championship promises intense competition and opportunities for young athletes to hone their skills and make their mark in the tennis world. 

To ensure a seamless tournament experience, USTA Florida has implemented the Match Tennis App, offering a wide range of features designed to streamline various aspects of the event. From in-app pre-tournament check-in and match check-in to court assignment notifications via text messaging, players can navigate the tournament logistics effortlessly. 

Additionally, the app facilitates in-app match score reporting, allowing players and spectators to stay updated on the latest results in real-time. With features like viewing the next matches on the waiting list and monitoring matches in progress, participants are equipped with the tools to stay informed and engaged throughout the championship. 

As the countdown begins to the 2024 Bobby Curtis Singles Championship, anticipation is high among players as they wait to take to the courts. We are just a few weeks away from an amazing display of talent and determination, as young athletes push for Florida’s most prestigious junior tennis championship.
