Querrey, Fish, Bryans to Feature at Madisen’s Match Charity Tennis in Ft. Myers

Tickets are now on sale for the Golisano Children’s Hospital Pro Tennis Classic, part of the two-day Madisen’s Match tennis experience to benefit pediatric and adult cancer patients featuring some of the world’s top-ranked tennis players.

Southwest Florida’s first-ever indoor tennis event will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena at Florida SouthWestern State College in Ft. Myers. The star-studded roster includes 2017 Wimbledon semifinalist Sam Querrey, 16-time Grand Slam winners and Olympic gold medalists Bob and Mike Bryan, and former U.S. No. 1 Mardy Fish.

The Golisano Children’s Hospital Pro Tennis Classic is the finale of the action-packed Madisen’s Match tennis experience, celebrating its 10th anniversary on March 18-19.  

To kick off the festivities, Bob and Mike Bryan exchange their tennis rackets for some 12-bar rock and roll as headliners for the 10th Anniversary Gala Celebration and Auction. Join the Bryan Brothers Band at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 18 where guests will enjoy a Grand Slam-themed gala and auction. The venue will also be home of the Madisen Match’s Legends Tennis Camp at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 19 followed by the Tennis Pro-Am at 1 p.m.

The 9th Annual Madisen’s Match in March 2017 raised nearly $150,000 for brain tumor-related care and research programs in Southwest Florida.

Duane Chaney established Madisen’s Match in 2008 after his 3-year-old niece Madisen Abramson was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Inspired by Madisen and determined to help others, Chaney created Madisen’s Match to use tennis as a way to raise funds for pediatric and adult cancer charities.
