Pro and USTA Florida Adult One-on-One Doubles Events Coming in March

One-on-One Doubles will return to Melbourne, Fla., when Suntree Country Club hosts the 2nd Space Coast One-On-One Doubles Shootout with $2,000 in prize money on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 3-7 p.m.

“The 2nd Annual Space Coast One-On-One Doubles Shootout will feature tennis legends Mikael Pernfors and Mel Purcell, and six more former ATP pros competing in this invitational-style shootout,” says organizer Ed Krass. “Rockin’ blues guitar great Albert Castiglia and Band will perform during the shootout to bring some electric musical intensity to our event.”

Admission to the event is free, and the tournament will be televised on Sunsports TV Network and the NESN TV Network in April.

For players wanting to try their competitive hand at One-On-One Doubles, a $2,000 Tampa Bay One-On-One Doubles Shootout will be held Saturday, March 31 at the FishHawk Ranch Tennis Club in Lithia, Fla. To register or for more info on the USTA Florida-sanctioned adult tournament go to:
