The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation in Jacksonville, Fla., hosted the 6th annual “Return The Serve Fun Day presented by Chase” on July 12, 2019.

The MWYF was announced by the USTA Foundation as one of 12 national after-school programs to receive $15,000 each to host Fun Days.

The national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the USTA Foundation, for the sixth consecutive year partnered with longtime US Open sponsor Chase to award National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters with a $15,000 grant each in support of year-round tennis and education programming through the A.C.E. (Academic Creative Engagement) curriculum. Chase has awarded more than $750,000 to select NJTL chapters within its six-year partnership with the Foundation.

The “Return The Serve Fun Day” celebrated each chapter’s programming and its impact on youth. Thousands of students in the selected cities took part in the nation-wide celebration.

Each of the local events featured high-energy and fun tennis activities, off-court educational opportunities, and a healthy lunch for the youth participants of the respective NJTL programs, along with their families.
