Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation Awards $60,000 in After-school Grants
The Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation announced grant checks to 17 after-school programs serving 1,300 children for their Fall 2019 grant cycle totaling more than $60,000.
After-school program grant recipients provide children the opportunity to participate in safe and impactful fitness, nutritional and enrichment programs empowering them to live healthy lives.

The MFCF supports more than 2,4100 children yearly, providing grants to 15 elementary schools, six middle schools, three after-school centers and more than 10 organizations county-wide in the Vero Beach, Fla., area.
Founded in 2007, the Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation originally collaborated with Pelican Island Elementary School providing enrichment and tennis programs. These programs provided a safe environment for children to participate in such activities as tennis, dance, gardening, sports and art. Currently MFCF supports over 2,400 children throughout Indian River County, Fla., by funding after-school exercise, nutritional and enrichment programs in a safe environment to prepare them for healthy, productive and successful lives.
