USTA Florida Hosted Hundreds of Junior Athletes at 2024 JTT Fall State Championships
USTA Florida hosted the Fall Junior Team Tennis (JTT) Championships at the Florida Tennis Center on December 7 and 8. This brought young players from across Florida to the courts for an exciting weekend of competition, camaraderie, and skillful play. Teams competed across multiple divisions, showcasing their growth and passion for the game.
JTT has always been more than just tennis, it helps build life skills for participants by showing them how to work on a team, socialize with others, and promotes healthy living.
Teams have been competing all fall for their shot at the title of state champions. This past weekend saw more than 20 teams battling it out across six divisions. Let’s take a look at how the action unfolded.
12U Green Ball
Finals: Neighborhood Tennis Blue (Miami) defeated Shack 12 (Volusia) in the championship flight winning 26 games.
Winning Team Roster: Carlos Santamaria (Captain), Sofia Fernandez, Olivia Martinez, Caterina Rodrigo, Miabelle Van Romondt
12U Yellow Ball
Finals: Neighborhood Tennis (Miami) finished in first place in the round robin winning 152 games. Terminetters (Okaloosa) finished in second place winning 129 games.

14U Intermediate
Finals: Ball Buster (Okaloosa) finished in first place in the round robin winning 142 games. Neighborhood Tennis (Miami) finished in second place winning 136 games.

14U Advanced
Finals: Parkland RNT (Parkland) finished in first place in the round robin winning 158 games. Shack Spinners (Volusia) finished in second place winning 118 games.

18U Yellow Ball Intermediate
Finals: Shack 18 (Volusia) finished in first place in the round robin winning 112 games. JGCC Blue (Duval) finished in second place winning 94 games.

18U Yellow Ball Advanced
