February XGLOsive Tennis Event in Jacksonville Hosted by MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation

The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, an official USTA Florida Community Tennis Association, will host a glow-in-the-dark XGLOsive tennis night for kids, adult and entire families on Feb. 16, 2019, from 6-10 p.m. in Jacksonville, Fla.

“XGLOsive turns traditional tennis into a fun, no-pressure social experience for people of all ages and abilities,” says MWYF Director Terri Florio. “Unlike traditional tennis events, XGLOsive takes the pressure off and turns the music and the fun all the way up!”

Participant ticket prices go toward the MWYF after-school youth development program in Jacksonville’s Urban Core promoting academic achievement and positive life skills through the sport of tennis for students in kindergarten through high school.

Participant tickets are $50 and include refreshments, an XGLOsive t-shirt and three hours of XGLOsive tennis play. Spectator tickets are $15 and include refreshments and an XGLOsive t-shirt.

Registration is 6-6:30 p.m., pizza and refreshments will be served at 6:30-7 p.m., with XGLOsive tennis play from 7-10 p.m.

“The MWYF tennis courts are being equipped with glow-in-the-dark tennis balls, nets, and more for XGLOsive tennis,” Florio says. “All skill levels are invited to attend this special event. If you don’t want to miss out but aren’t interested in playing, spectator tickets are available for those that just want to watch.”

The tennis center is located at 1096 W. 6th St. in Jacksonville, Fla.
