February Begins College MatchDay Tennis at USTA National Campus in Orlando

The USTA’s 2018 College MatchDay schedule will showcase a number of the country’s top college tennis programs at the USTA National Campus at Lake Nona in Orlando in February-April. The schedule includes several rivalry match-ups and two combined men’s and women’s events.
 
The National Campus’ 1,200-seat collegiate stadium will host 14 of the country’s premier NCAA Division I tennis programs, beginning on Saturday, Feb. 3, when the Florida and Florida State men and women will play simultaneously on both sides of the campus’ 12-court stadium.
 
Admission is free for each College MatchDay, which will feature kids activities, live music, specialty food and drinks, games and giveaways on-site at the USTA National Campus. 2018 College MatchDay Schedule at the USTA National Campus (all times EST):

Feb. 3 — Florida vs. Florida State (men/women), 7 p.m.
Feb. 9 — Georgia vs. Georgia Tech (men), 7 p.m.
Feb. 24 — Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M (men), 10:30 a.m.
March 3 — Michigan vs. Central Florida (men/women), 12:30 p.m.
April 1 — Florida vs. Texas (women), 5 p.m.
April 15 — Central Florida vs. South Florida (men), 5:30 p.m.

“Last year was an unreal experience with it being the largest regular season crowd in college tennis,” said FSU men’s head coach Dwayne Hultquist. “Beating Florida there in an emotional victory was the highlight of our season. We love coming to play down there with the amazing College MatchDay experience.”
