Family ‘Red Ball Tournament’; Latest ‘Inside Tennis with The Koz’

Family Tennis ‘Red Ball Tournament’ in Daytona Beach Area

It will be family fun for all ages when Airport Road Park in Port Orange, Fla., hosts a tennis Red Ball Tournament on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016 starting at 11 a.m.

The event will include tennis, food and prizes, and benefits the Spruce Creek High School tennis program.

Cost for the event is $15 per player or $25 per family. The event will feature play with the lower-compression “red ball” on kid-friendly 36-foot courts.

Bollettieri, Vitale Featured on Latest ‘Inside Tennis with The Koz’

The latest episode of “Inside Tennis with The Koz,” which premieres on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 2:30 p.m. on the Suncoast News Network in Florida, is now available online, featuring interviews with teaching legend Nick Bollettieri, senior tennis champs, recent award winners from the 2015 USTA Florida Awards, and more.

“We have a sit-down interview with 2015 USTA Florida Hall of Famer Maria Cercone,” says Dave “The Koz” Kozlowski. “We have a rare interview opportunity with legendary coach and International Tennis Hall of Famer Nick Bollettieri, Mr. College Basketball Dick Vitale and myself in a three-way exchange. We also talk to USTA senior champions Larry Turville and Joe Bachmann, along with a tribute to long-time USTA Florida senior tennis champ Ken Wagstaff.”
