Sectional Regulations Team Eligibility 2.03A: The minimum number of required team members in the Adult 65 & Over. All teams MUST have 6 eligible team members to combine and compete for their FIRST scheduled Invitational match. This requirement cannot be waived. Entry fees will not be refunded to teams that withdraw after the tournament schedule is first published.

- Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 7:00pm (Eastern Time).
Captains may email questions prior to Q&A if they are not able to attend the evening call. A call-in number will be sent under separate email.

- Captains will receive their Packet and Team T-Shirts.
- Please be on-site at least 45 minutes before your FIRST scheduled match time.
Tournament Warm-up Clinic: USTA FL League 65 & Over
Join us on Friday, Apr. 8, for a warm-up to your weekend! Activities will be organized by National Campus teaching pros and oriented toward live ball reps. Get acclimated to the facility and court surface (Har-Tru green clay).
General & Match Play Information:

Facility: USTA National Campus in Lake Nona
Tournament Director: Christine Ducey
Scoring: Section Reg 2.03C Scoring, Rest and Suspended Play. All matches played at the USTA Florida Sectional Championships shall be the best of two tiebreak sets with a set tiebreak (using the Coman tiebreak procedure) at 6-all. In the event of split sets, a match tiebreak (using the Coman tiebreak procedure) shall be played in lieu of a third set. No coaching is allowed at any time.
Umpires: There are roving umpires present at all championship sites. Roving umpires may be positioned inside the fenced areas and will interfere with play as little as possible. Players should be encouraged to play tennis without the need for umpires to be present. In the case of disputed calls and upon the request of the player, a roving umpire may be requested to observe a portion of the match
Court Surface: Clay
Coaching: No coaching allowed.
Trainer: There will be a trainer on-site to assist with athletic injuries.
Awards: Winners and Finalist must report to the tournament desk for award distribution and team picture following their final match.
Please note that the tournament format, number of matches and scoring format may change due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather. Extreme weather conditions could cause delays, modifications and possible cancellation of the tournament. There are no guaranteed back-up indoor courts where the championship can be played in the event of rain.
