Discount Deadline Approaching for Florida Overnight Team Tennis Event with $1,000 to Winners

The field is filling up, and Nov. 30, 2018 is the discount deadline for the first-ever USTA Florida OVERNIGHT adult team tennis XGLOsive event in Florida, where the winning team will receive a cool $1,000.

The event will be capped at 30 teams, and this month teams can use the promotional code FIRST10, where the first 10 teams to register will get $50 off the $300 team registration fee. 

Get your team together today for the Feb. 9-10, 2019 one-of-a-kind adult team tennis event that will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, and conclude at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Naples, Fla. USTA membership is not required.

“Join the fun as we take over Sanchez-Casal Academia in Naples this February,” says organizer and USTA Florida Local League Coordinator Trish DiPalo. “The all-night tournament will kick off with a sunset dinner and opening celebration, and teams can enjoy midnight snacks, a cash bar, and breakfast all while great music plays in a festive atmosphere.”

Once the sun sets, teams will enjoy an XGLOsive-style warm-up, followed by a 10-point tiebreak-style tournament that will run all night on three black-light powered courts. Teams can be a minimum of four players or a maximum of six or any age over 18, any gender or any skill level.

“The rules are modified to level the playing field, and the battle against sleep will be your biggest opponent,” says Laura Bowen, USTA Florida executive director and XGLOsive D.J. “Teams will play a minimum of nine matches, with $1,000 to the winner and ultimate bragging rights as the first-ever Blacklight Overnight Tennis event champion!”
