Born and raised in the Pensacola, Florida area, Maggie Lochas began her professional career working for the City of Pensacola’s Parks and Recreation department and has been there for the past 16 years. During this time, Maggie attended the University of West Florida, receiving her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Public Administration. Eleven years ago, while working at the Roger Scott Tennis Center, Maggie fell in love with the game of tennis and started her own morning ladies league team. Since then, she has been helping spread her passion for tennis through volunteer work, chairing the Pink Ribbon Tennis Tournament – Calcutta, being a Love to Learn/ Love to Play Ambassador in Pensacola, captaining 2.5 USTA teams, and most recently assisted with Escambia’s Junior Team Tennis. Maggie was named USTA Florida’s Volunteer of the Month for April 2022. When she is not working or playing tennis, Maggie enjoys event planning and catering.
