Christine Ducey is a Tennis and Restaurant Industry Professional with more than three decades of experience. Her experience includes more than a decade at Darden Restaurants in both Operations and Technology Systems. She assisted in the development and support of software utilized for restaurant brands that was innovative at the time, effective, and widely accepted by the more than 900 restaurant management staff teams.
In 2004, she was recruited to begin a small Junior Team Tennis program in her local community in her spare time. The program grew exponentially to over 400 players in Central Florida area public parks and private clubs. She was awarded USTA Florida Junior Team Tennis Area League Coordinator of Year in 2007 and her volunteerism led to many other volunteer leadership opportunities. Christine saw her management skills and passion for sports administration align when she served as Executive Director of the Mid Florida Tennis Association beginning in 2014.
Following the successful local Community Tennis Association launch, Christine joined USTA Florida staff as Director of Leagues in 2016 and quickly assumed additional responsibilities in the role of Director of Adult Tennis. The department proudly experienced record league growth during her eight-year tenure and created the very successful Love To Learn Adult Beginner Tennis program as well as creating and implementing a digital based app system which transformed the operations of their Sectional tournaments that host more than 6000 players per year! A lifelong learner, in September 2024, Christine shifted again to align her expanding skills and experience with her passions to serve as Director of Advocacy for USTA Florida.
Beyond her professional achievements, Christine lives with her husband John and their dog named Lucey! They have three adult children. She enjoys running, golf and tennis and continues to volunteer in her community.
