Barry Gibb to Appear at Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic

The Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic picked up a new presenting sponsor, Chase Private Client, and a new headliner when it was announced this week that Barry Gibb will perform at the event’s Black Tie Gala held on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.

“I am thrilled beyond words that this iconic artist will be performing at our 30th anniversary celebration,” Evert said. “This is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to hear some of the greatest hits of all time — live!”

Gibb stands as one of the most prolific singer/songwriter/producers of the modern era, co-founding the Bee Gees with his brothers Maurice and Robin. Their hits include “Jive Talkin’,” “You Should Be Dancing,” and from the best-selling movie soundtrack “Saturday Night Fever,” the Grammy Award-winning hits “Staying Alive,” “Night Fever,” and “How Deep Is Your Love.”

The black-tie Gala on Nov. 23 includes dinner, dancing, cocktails, and live and silent auctions. Tickets are $750 per person and can be purchased at www.chrisevert.org/tickets.

The three-day Pro-Celebrity charity event (Nov. 22-24) also includes two days of celebrity tennis at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. Proceeds from the event are distributed to programs funded through the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida and the Drug Abuse Foundation of Palm Beach County.
