Summer camps and college community hubs are the topics to be tackled by USTA Florida’s Here to Serve podcast series this April. Mark your calendars and be sure to tune in to each episode detailed below!
The Here to Serve series aims to keep the Florida tennis community updated about what’s going on with the organization – from the products and programs to everything in between. Each episode includes a question and answer session with USTA Florida program directors or other leaders in the local tennis community about what is being done to re-imagine programs and play.
Schedule of upcoming topics:
Apr. 14th Summer Camps
Ready for Summer? USTA Florida is preparing for its Summer Camps for kids while also engaging all the new and returning adult players that are enjoying the sport! Oh how tennis is growing! USTA Florida Director of Tennis Management Frank Swope discusses how, when and where you can get your game on.
Apr. 28th College Community Hubs
With the many first-class university venues in Florida, there is no reason not to make these sites hubs for local community programs. Dr. Jill Fjelstul, Associate Professor Director of Hospitality in Sports / Professional Tennis Management at Rosen College of Hospitality Management at UCF, and Danielle Gooding, USTA Florida Director of Community Tennis, will discuss the Collegiate Community Hub concept.
